Thoughts on Mint Mobile

Mint Mobile $15 Month plan!

Cheap as it sounds, hard to be true!.. BUT, it is!

As someone like that was a T-Mobile user for many years.  I made the switch to Mint Mobile!

While my family went from T-Mobile to Xfinity Mobile.  In the other hand; switched over to Mint Mobile.  When it comes to T-mobile’s prices; very unreasonable;  I flocked off over to Mint Mobile since now my iPhone SE 2nd Edition was no longer locked into T-Mobile and finally paid off the phone back in November 2022.

Over 5 Months Later

Switched over to Mint Mobile!

It’s been the best switch I have ever made!!!

I am currently on a three-month plan; next month (June) I’ll get up paying $75 dollars.  Which was offered when I first signed up via Mint Mobile.

Since Signing up…

The basic plan was around 4GB data plan for $15 per month previously.  Mint Mobile now upgraded the $15 Plan adding 1GB addition from 4 – 5GB.  which is still good. honestly,  honestly,  I haven’t had much problems since signing up with Mint’s Mobile Wireless Service.

No throttling, No customer service issues!

Take Note!

Mint Mobile is part of T-mobile.  The thing to remember is T-Mobile will prioritize its customers first over Mint Mobile customers since Mint shares the same towers T-mobile.  So far I haven’t come across service when I’ve been out and about.

e-SIM

Depents what phone model you have,  Not all phone will provide e-SIM feature.

For anyone that doesn’t have a clue what’s an e-SIM.

“An eSIM is an industry-standard digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical SIM card.”

Which is a plus on its own,  However, if you still wanted to go for a physical SIM  that option around.  As much I want to go deep into the plus and minus of e-SIM.  I’ll explain that in another article.

Reliability?

Since I live 32 minutes away from Atlanta.  I can tell you the service and coverage is great!  I haven’t traveled out far off the city to the rural streets.  I had no experiences how the coverage is like.  I do recommend trying out the 7 day-trail to see if Mint works for you!  I would try Mint’s Coverage Map.

Conclusion

I recommend Mint to anyone that’s looking for something inexpensive,  if I was you.  I give Mint a shot and give the service a try even if you don’t commit to the switch.  That’s okay!  At least you tried what Mint Mobiles like for you!
