The focus on EV’s is on everyone’s mind. Toyota’s direction; Hydrogen Fuel Cell Model. Is this a good idea?
You have countries that’s looking to faze-out ICE a.k.a Internal Combustion Engines ban them around 2035. Out of all car manufacturers,
Toyota’s direction is different!
The Hydrogen fuel is a different concept what most manufacturers aren’t looking at now. While many manufacturers are looking into EV’s while it is reliable right now. EV’s have come up with many questions for one, The lithium-ion batteries lifespan, how cost of have having an electrician to install a charging station in your home, Is it really energy efficient? – All the cost does add up!
Why Toyota’s CEO decided to go all-in EV’s?
From some of the previous statements he’s made.
He believes it will be “difficult” to fulfill recent regulations that call for banning traditional vehicles with internal combustion engines by 2035, like California state”
Which is one of the first states to call for the ban for ICE. while many American’s aren’t going to shell out on overprice EV’s. Many have divided opinions on EV’s, You have to look into cost of electricity to refuel your car whether its an Tesla or Lucid, its not affordability reasonable for most average consumers. I can complete understand why, I do believe we should have choices if we want to drive conventional ICE, EV cars or, Hydrogen
Conclusion: I like this direction of going hydrogen, as crazy as this sounds, Hydrogen fuel cell is the future I can get behind for alternative fueling solutions. EV’s is only short term survival when in reality EV’s are NOT saving the environment as I previously stated I will not get an EV. Not many knows about this…Hydrogen has been around much longer than Lithium-ion, reasons Tesla won’t never go H2O because the business is based around Lithium! Toyota’s looking at it differently I mean why go the same path where everyone is going at it?! The potential for hydrogen energy will be something I’m keen to see this take off!
