iPhone 15 Ditches Lightning to USB-C, What else is New?!

Apple unveils the new iPhone 15,  This is no surprise for the tech-giants move into switching over from Lightning to USB-C.

Coming from many sources, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max will Apple’s most expensive device to have released on all of Apples history,  when you think what Apple is doing this time around they’re are now officially ditching the lightning-port over the USB-C which is now the new,  USB-C is a new charging standard.  Screen-size the same old, same old size!

As brand-new models, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus will last for many years to come and will remain part of Apple’s flagship lineup for the next 12 months, so you can rest assured that something newer and better is not right around the corner.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus start at $799 and offer a good balance between functionality, longevity, and price, but if cost is the major factor for you, Apple also offers the $429 iPhone SE with older technology and the prior-generation iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus with pricing starting at $699. The two-year-old iPhone 13 is also available starting at $599.

Did Apple try anything differently with new iPhone 15?

Unlike previous releases,  Apple during the Jobs-era; in past Apple Keynotes, shown how much potential what apple iPhone were!  A product that felt personally right in your hands,  Cook-era wasn’t all that great when it came into additional bells and whistles.  Cook didn’t had the Apple Magic what it once was with Jobs around as CEO many years ago.  As if the processor was in some way a game charger.  Many people are starting to pick up that not every release is worth the purchase!

From Lightning port to USB-C

The EU had told the tech giant to ditch its proprietary charging ports to make life easier for consumers, save them money, and help reduce e-waste by encouraging re-use of chargers.

However, some warn the move will lead to a rise in discarded cables in the years to come.

Perhaps in response, Apple used its launch event on Tuesday to make a series of environmental pledges about its new devices, including making the new Apple Watch range carbon neutral for the first time.

What will happen with anyone using Lightning Cable?

IF anyone plans on purchasing the Brand New iPhone 15, you will not need an adapter.  If all are sticking with your new Phone will be able to use an Lightning to USB-C adapter costing anyone around #30 on Apples Website.

Thanks for taking the time reading the LLG Entry
