GeForce RTX™ 3060 GAMING OC 12G Review

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING OC 12G Review from New-Egg Shuffle.

RTX 3060 output ports

When the package NewEgg arrived at my place I got to install it into my PCIe slot the day of inserting the GPU card and installing NVIDIA drivers off on Windows 10 OS.  I’ll summarize over why I like Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060 for Gaming and Content Creation. I’ll go over the main features this Graphics Card brings to the table.

GIGABYTE RTX 3060, a successor over RTX 2060 Series it runs 20% faster over the last 2060 GPU generation.  This GPU is currently installed onto my AMD MSI X570 Motherboard’s PCI-e 4.0 slot.  For one,   I’ll acknowledge this isn’t the best “GPU card release”  RTX 3060 best runs on 1080p gaming monitors.  Many will be disappointed which it will not run games on 4K.

As a mainstream card, the RTX 3060 primarily targets 1080p and 1440p gaming. Some lighter games may also run fine at 4K, or in some cases, you could shoot for 4K at medium settings. But despite having more VRAM than even the RTX 3080, frame rates definitely take a hit at the highest resolutions. We’ll start with our 1080p benchmarks, then move on to 1440p and 4K.

Conclusion

Is this GPU worth your upgrade?  The answer: No.  While this is a good card, it isn’t exactly the best card to come to date.  The marketing for this GPU card attracted Crypto Miners more so than  “Gamers and Content creators”.  If you’re a crypto mining this card works for your needs.
